I believe flowers have a special mission in our lives. People change when they see flowers. Studies have shown flowers have an immediate impact on happiness and their presence leads to increased contact with family and friends. As a freelance floral designer, I loved the way faces lit up when I walked into the venue with arrangements and buckets of flowers.

I decided to take the leap in 2022 and pursue a career that would enable me to create something meaningful and beautiful and combine my passion with designing a purpose driven life centered on creating stronger connections amongst people through the beauty and language of flowers. Designing florals for my couple’s wedding day is such an incredible experience. I am honored to bring their floral vision to life and humbled by the experience. Each and every wedding is so unique and special. Working with local growers established and just starting out, gives a unique vibe to my weddings while supporting my local community.
We believe in sustainable design and giving your event florals a second life. Specifically supporting community organizations such as The Shelter for Help in Emergency and holding workshops for tweens and teens with a partnership in 2025 at Lugo McGinnis Academny

Supporting Local Charlottesville: The Shelter for Help in Emergency, Lugo McGinnis Academy.
In 2025, I moved from my small design space into a naturally lit, 1940’s building off of Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. With plenty of space and unique characteristics, I began to work on my next business offering, Studio Rentals and curated events such as anniversary parties, baby showers, birthday parties.. all of the events that come after the wedding. It is such a joy to have a space unique to Charlottesville for making memories. This is how Maison Charlottesville was born.
